This year’s theme is both a reflection and a call to action. We pay tribute to the trailblazers whose courage, sacrifice, and unwavering pursuit of justice expanded opportunities for future generations. At the same time, we look forward with purpose, embracing our responsibility to carry their work forward and help shape a more equitable future.
As we celebrate the enduring legacy of Dr. King, we are especially honored to commemorate what would have been Coretta Scott King’s 100th birthday. A visionary leader in her own right, Coretta Scott King devoted her life to advancing civil rights, preserving Dr. King’s legacy, and championing justice around the world. This year’s gala recognizes the profound impact of both leaders and the enduring relevance of their shared vision.
